An intervention is the most loving action a family can take. It is meant to be a constructive, caring confrontation carried out as an act of compassion, with dignity and respect for all concerned. Our process is designed to provide a window of opportunity for treatment, recovery and change for the family as well as the addict.
Intervention services include educating the family about the disease of addiction, selecting an appropriate treatment center, matching treatment options to family finances or insurance coverage, making travel arrangements, facilitating the intervention, and escorting the patient to treatment. Interventions are best handled with the assistance of a trained professional, known as an interventionist. They add an added dimension of professionalism and help the intervention to go smoothly.

Step By Step Recovery Inc. will educate family and loved ones and join together in a loving but firm manner to confront the addict with his/her illness and the necessity of beginning treatment. The intervention will be conducted in a loving and caring manner, devoid of guilt, shame, anger or judgment.
